PHIL
HAMILTON - Regional Engineer
Phil is our Regional Engineer based in the Singapore
Office. He is a mechanical engineer with more
than 25 years of working experience on various
types of high speed turbo machinery including
combustion turbines, steam turbines, hydro turbines
and centrifugal compressors. Phil started his
career with the Royal Navy as a civilian technician
achieving the position of Technology Officer
before leaving for working experience overseas.
Joining John Brown Engineering Ltd in 1977 he
gained extensive experience with the installation,
commissioning and maintenance of heavy industrial
gas turbine power plants and associated equipment
worldwide. Recent years have included acting
as a Consultant Engineer and Owners Engineer
for the internationally renowned consultants
Lahmeyer International GmbH. Machinery breakdown
experience was gained working with the Chromalloy
Corporation Inc. USA, where he acted as Project
Manager on the servicing and repairing of turbo
machinery components in the company’s
workshops in Dallas, Texas.
Phil is a well qualified engineer with engineering
diplomas from a UK educational institution.
He is a member of the highly respected American
Society of Mechanical Engineers, USA ( ASME
) and an associate of The International Gas
Turbine Institute, USA. ( IGTI )
